Passengers are provided with regular bus services from the city to the airport via the Aerobuses that run every 20 minutes from outside the main train station, which is located a 20 minute out of the historic city center. These services start at 6.10 am and finish at 11.10 pm, charging EUR 6.00 for a single ticket. The main bus terminal is located just opposite the train station. It is also possible to catch a long-distance service from South Tyrol and the Italian Dolomites directly to the airport as well as boarding direct coach services from Lake Garda, situated approximately 10 km out of Verona, to Verona Villafranca Airport.

Anyone travelling from other parts of the Verona region or from Venice, Milan or Bologna by train should contact the main information website for Italian railways at www.trentitalia.com, where the cheapest and fastest train connections to and from Verona railway station can be found and tickets can be booked. The airport does not have its own train station.

Verona Villafranca Airport is easy to reach via motorways A4 and A22. Motorists coming from Bolzano, Trento, Mantova or Vicenza should take the Verona Nord exit and then follow the sign-posting to the airport.

From Bergamo it takes around 70 minutes to cover the 116 km to the airport; departures at Verona Villafranca Airport starting out from Modena, which is around 105 km distance away, will also take around 70 minutes for their journey.
